Über diesen Ort: Katsurahama-Strand
Katsurahama ist ein pazifischer Strand, in klassischer Dichtung als Mondbeobachtungsort gefeiert. Fünffarbige Kiesel, Wellen des Kuroshio-Stroms und die 5,3 m hohe Statue von Sakamoto Ryoma (1928 errichtet) machen ihn ikonisch. Das Gebiet ist Katsurahama-Park mit Aquarium und Ryoma-Museum.
