Noboribetsu Onsen is the 'department store of hot springs' with nine water types. Noboribetsu Jigokudani ('Hell Valley') is a massive volcanic crater with walking paths; the valley, Oku-no-yu, and the Oyunuma River natural footbath form dynamic onsen scenery.
