Dogo Onsen es uno de los termales más antiguos de Japón (3.000 años). El edificio de madera de tres pisos de 1894, Dogo Onsen Honkan, es Propiedad Cultural Importante y uno de los modelos del baño de «El viaje de Chihiro». La iluminación nocturna es mágica.
