Tofuku-ji, templo principal zen Rinzai fundado en 1236, es uno de los puntos de follaje otoñal más famosos de Kioto. La vista desde el puente Tsuten-kyo sobre 2.000 arces define el otoño japonés. El verde fresco de principios de verano es igualmente refrescante.
