Tentang lokasi ini: Pantai Katsurahama
Katsurahama adalah pantai Pasifik yang dirayakan dalam puisi klasik sebagai tempat pengamatan bulan. Kerikil lima warna, gelombang arus Kuroshio, dan patung Sakamoto Ryoma setinggi 5,3m (didirikan 1928) menjadikannya ikonis. Area ini adalah Taman Katsurahama, dengan akuarium dan museum Ryoma.

- Mid-Autumn Moon — the «moon over Katsurahama,» celebrated for centuries; the «Meigetsu Ekin Festival» is held in mid-autumn
- Katsurahama Aquarium — opened in 1931; with a Pacific Ocean backdrop, the show stadium photographs spectacularly
