Het Sapporo Sneeuwfestival in Odori-park begin februari: Japans grootste sneeuw- en ijsgebeurtenis. Sculpturen van meer dan 15m hoog, burgersculpturen, ijssnijwerk en nachtverlichting trekken meer dan 2 miljoen bezoekers.
