Dogo Onsen é uma das fontes termais mais antigas do Japão (3.000 anos). O prédio de madeira de três andares de 1894, Dogo Onsen Honkan, é Bem Cultural Importante e um dos modelos do banho em «A Viagem de Chihiro». A iluminação noturna é mágica.
