Das Kobo-Hügelgrab in Matsumoto ist eines der ältesten schlüssellochförmigen Hügelgräber Ostjapans (späte 3. Jahrhundert). Auf 650 m gelegen, blühen etwa 4.000 Kirschbäume Mitte April. Der Gipfel bietet ein Panorama von Matsumoto und den schneebedeckten Nordalpen, eingerahmt von Kirschblüten.
