Anyo-ji ist ein alter Jodo-Shinshu-Tempel in Matsumoto. Sein hundertjähriger Trauerkirschbaum lässt Mitte April blassrosa Kaskaden bis zum Boden fallen. Der Kontrast zwischen der ruhigen hölzernen Haupthalle und den Kirschblüten ergibt eine malerische Szene, von Einheimischen geliebt.
