Sobre este lugar: Remolinos de Naruto
El estrecho de Naruto, entre Tokushima y la isla Awaji, se cuenta entre las tres mayores corrientes de marea del mundo (ancho máximo 1,3 km). Las mareas vivas de primavera y otoño producen remolinos de hasta 20 m: fotografía desde barcos turísticos o la pasarela Uzu-no-Michi bajo el puente Onaruto.
