Les ruelles autour de Kiyomizu-dera — Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka et Kiyomizuzaka — sont des rues pavées bordées de maisons traditionnelles, désignées District de Préservation Important. La vue avec la pagode Yasaka (Hokan-ji) en arrière-plan est une composition classique de Kyoto. Mieux à l'aube.
