Joyama-park in Matsumoto op 650 m hoort bij Japans «100 Beste Sakura-plekken». Zo'n 400 kersenbomen bloeien terwijl het uitkijkplein heel Matsumoto-centrum, de Noordelijke Alpen en de Norikura omarmt. Kersenbloesem met besneeuwde Alpen vormt een unieke Matsumoto-lentevisie.
