Os ameixais de Mie (incluindo o santuário Yuki na cidade de Tsu) são famosos pelas flores de ameixeira do início da primavera em fevereiro e março. Ameixeiras vermelhas, brancas e chorosas florescem juntas com a baía de Ise enevoada e as montanhas ao fundo, anunciando a primavera.
