Katsurahama är en Stillahavsstrand firad i klassisk poesi som månobservationsplats. Femfärgade stenar, vågor från Kuroshio-strömmen och 5,3 m hög Sakamoto Ryoma-staty (upprest 1928) gör den ikonisk. Området är Katsurahama-parken, med akvarium och Ryoma-museum.
