Das Sapporo-Schneefest im Odori-Park Anfang Februar ist Japans größtes Schnee-und-Eis-Event. Über 15 m hohe Schneeskulpturen, Bürgerskulpturen, Eisschnitzereien und nächtliche Beleuchtung ziehen über 2 Millionen Besucher an.
