Tofuku-ji, temple tête zen Rinzai fondé en 1236, est un des hauts lieux du feuillage d'automne de Kyoto. La vue du pont Tsuten-kyo sur 2 000 érables définit l'automne japonais. La verdure de début d'été est tout aussi rafraîchissante.
