Пролив Наруто между Токусимой и островом Авадзи — один из трёх крупнейших приливных течений мира (макс. ширина 1,3 км). Весенние и осенние сизигийские приливы порождают водовороты до 20 м: фотографируйте с туристических катеров или с дорожки Удзу-но-мити под мостом Онаруто.
