Naruto-sundet mellan Tokushima och Awaji-ön är en av världens tre största tidvattenströmmar (max bredd 1,3 km). Vår- och höstsyzygi-tidvatten skapar virvlar upp till 20 m: fotografera från turistbåtar eller gångvägen Uzu-no-Michi under Onaruto-bron.
