Tungkol sa lokasyong ito: Naruto Strait
Ang Naruto Strait sa pagitan ng Tokushima at Awaji Island ay itinuturing na isa sa tatlong pinakamalaking tidal current sa mundo (max width 1.3 km). Ang spring at autumn tide ay gumagawa ng vortex na hanggang 20 m: kunan mula sa tour boat o Uzu-no-Michi walkway sa ilalim ng Onaruto Bridge.

- Whirlpools — over 20 m across, one of the world's three great tidal currents; largest 1–2 hours around high or low tide
